Tack Room - Chicago
Drawing inspiration from the 1890’s, when every local Czech tavern owner had a carriage house, John Dusek had one of his own at Thalia Hall.
Tucked away on the property, in a space that once housed his horses, today's owners of Thalia Hall have reinvigorated that space as a quaint saloon-style cocktail bar. With a simple and curated cocktail menu, a nifty view of the neighborhood and patio seating for drinking in the warm weather, and a fan-favorite piano adorned with animal skulls, it’s the kind of place made for lingering. Nights at Tack Room find the bar's pianist turning out classic favorites to be enjoyed by all. There are also song request sheets for those who have some musical ideas, and sing-alongs are always welcome.
